Gurgaon: The state department of town and country planning (DTCP) reshuffled its key posts on Monday, transferring senior town planner Sanjeev Mann to Hisar and district town planner (enforcement) RS Batth to Karnal.
Narendra Singh Solanki, the senior town planner of Hisar, and Mann will swap their posts, according to the department’s order.
Gurgaon’s new district town planner (district town planner, enforcement) will be Amit Madholia, who was earlier the DTP (headquarters).
Madholia has previously worked as an assistant town planner in Gurgaon.
Madholia will be succeeded by Parveen Kumar, who was the DTP-Narnaul, as the DTP (headquarters).
Batth, who was in-charge of both enforcement and planning as the district town planner in Gurgaon, was actively working to curb illegal colonies and unauthorised construction in the city. He also headed the enforcement wing of the municipal corporations of Gurgaon (MCG) and Manesar.
The chief town planner (IT) JP Sihag will be the new chief town planner of the MCG. In its Monday order, the department of town and country planning (DTCP) has transferred 32 chief town planners, senior town planners, apart from district and assistant town planners.
