Guwahati: Ahead of the cabinet meeting which is scheduled to be held in Silchar on Tuesday, the state unit of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has demanded the list of the key decisions that had been implemented by the state cabinet since the CM Himanta Biswa Sarma-led government BJP government came into power in May last year.
TMC also claimed that the citizens of the state are not aware about the developments, though the CM has been holding several cabinet meetings in the past year in various parts of the state, including Guwahati.
TMC media chairman Dilip Kumar Sarma said, “We urged the chief minister and the CMO to highlight the list of key decisions that have been implemented so far. We have always supported development. We will certainly appreciate it if the cabinet decisions were implemented. But we doubt whether those decisions have turned into reality.”
The TMC leader also wanted to know the status of the cabinet decisions that were taken when Sarbananda Sonowal was the CM of the state. “A cabinet meeting was previously held in Silchar when present Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal was the CM. But there has been no update on the mini secretariat in Silchar till date,” added Sarma.
